I preferred Gmail over the Yahoo or Hotmail because it has really need tool called create a filter. What it allows you to do is filter incoming emails for example; if I get a crazy person that keeps emailing me, I can mark it as spam but it usually keeps showing up in the inbox. So I can save from crazyperson@aol.com, hypothetical does not really exist. If they email me, I can say, if it is from crazyperson@aol.com. I can see, forward it back to crazyperson@aol.com and delete it and I can create a filter. Or I can filter stuff by the subject line. Sometimes YouTube sends me emails of subscription invitations. I will never subscribe to somebody if they send me an invitation. I will subscribe to them if I like their videos, so is the subject is subscription, invitation? I can say next step to automatically delete it. And also, sometimes I get random messages from people asking me to join some club, like you have been invited to join the pokemon fan group or something on YouTube. I could also filter it just by adding a subject line.
It also has conditionals like if it has these words or if it does not have these words and you can even block if they have an attachment. So, it is pretty fully featured not a lot of people know about it and it is definitely one of the reasons I switch to Gmail. Anyways, thanks for listening.
