Okay guys. This is Terry and I want to show you how to fix one of your hyperlinks in your MySpace profile. Here is mine for example, I got hyperlinked there to one of my sites. Just scroll down. Let’s see in here. Here is another one. Here is another one.
Now here, notice how it’s hyperlinked but it’s really, really tiny and why is that? Well, that is because MySpace HTML which I know a little bit something about is in my opinion a major pain in the butt at least for as Mac users and it really takes a lot of scrutinizing sometimes to see where your errors are. And in this case, it is simple as you know—anything about the HTML. All the HTMLs are always little commands; these little tags. You know, there is the close tag with double slash in front of the word, the font; the open letters up here—well I should say font size.
Anyway, here is the problem. Here is the link that MySpace codes into MySpace links. Jibber jabbers stuff. And then here is the actual text that I want to show. I want to show www.TheInnerCirclemasters.com but for it to be the right size, you know, I want to be at certain size, you need to select the font size tag and put it right before the actual text you want it to see. And put the close tag right after the text, like so.
In that way—it has to be before the close anchor tag. And that way, it’s going to format it the way you want it to look. Going to go up here and check our work. Scroll down to it until the next stop. And there you go. Now its full size all because of the order you put your HTML tags in.
In this case, the font, size command telling it to be that big like the rest of the text was before the anchor tag, the a href= the actual site you want it to go to; the link to. You got to put the font—the font tag right around the actual text.
In this case, I just made the text; the name of the website but as I’ve shown you there, it has to be right before, not before the anchor tag because if you put it before the anchor tag, it’s going to look tiny like I showed you at the beginning of this video.
So that is a little tip you can use when you’re sitting there trying to wonder why, you know you got a font size like this guy. You know the creator that does a template here. It’s really, really tiny. You don’t want it tiny like that. You want it bigger like the rest of your text. It’s critical that you have it in the correct order. And I just figure that up myself actually because I’m having some real hard time figuring out why my newest edition here could not show up properly and then I realized that the text were out of order.
There you go. I hope that helps you guys out and I’ll help you later. Bye.
