Proper technique – make sure the back is tight as you lift the dumbbell up off the floor. Set the dumbbells on your knees and then use your legs to help drive the dumbbells up to shoulder level and then press straight up over your head, back over your ears. Want to bring the dumbbells close together up to the top.
In dumbbell military press, proper spotting is critical. You want to make sure that you spot the wrists and not the elbows.
