Are you tired of the all the Facebook applications invitations, come and check out this little video I made for you. Hello, its Mari Smith here. I am going to show you how to use this fabulous little bookmarklet called Ignore All. Go to ignoreall.com; easiest thing to do in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. You see this little hand here, you are going to click, and I am holding onto my mouse here, and I am dragging it up to links. You see that? Now, let go. Now, that's what's called a bookmarklet. These are all like little shortcuts.
Now, I am over on Facebook, on my homepage, and I see I have a lot of requests. This is for you are going to see this wonderful Ignore All bookmarklet come into its own. Now, these are all under the same category, whichever one of these three I click on, it will take me to one page filled with request.
So I am just going to go ahead and click on the first one, which is Friend Request. That comes up. For now, I am going to just whiz through those Friend Request. You will see there is also event invitations in there, and probably some groups too. So this is only just a couple of days worth.
Now, it gets to the point where, let's see, group invitations, and now from here on down, it's about the 22 other requests. These are all application request, and I don't know about you, but I tend to ignore about 99.9% of them. I appreciate all my wonderful friends looking out for me and wanting to have a nice enjoyable connection with these things, but I just do not have the time of day.
So watch this, I am going up here, and remember, we added the Ignore All bookmarklet, on this page here, when I click this button, like magic, it zaps all of those applications, invitations, see, just basically unmask hit the Ignore button, and that's it.
Now I have to go back and look at the groups and events, and obviously it doesn't ignore friends, so you can do that part by yourself.
This is Mari Smith at FacebookFortunes.com.
