Not terribly helpful, to say the least. Try these: 1. Fewer icons on the desktop, especially on older machines! 2. Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Disk Cleanup 3. Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Disk Defragmenter Unfortu nately, Windows XP machines tend to slow down with time, especially if you install any software. The registry just keeps getting larger, and registry cleaners don't really work. When all else fails, it is time to back up all your data, reinstall Windows, then reinstall all the software you actually use and restore your backed up data.

Ok ther is a site where u can increase ur cpu and gpu performance in a value of 400€ just for a cuple bucks its unbelivable! i bought and O.O wow i have a crapie pc and i can run games like far cry 2 and stuff like tht without freezing! try it ! www.overclockyourcpu .tk/

dude... my comp. looks completley different!
OMG Can you plz help me turn it back to the way it was? I have Windows Media Center Edition, and now my start menu, windows, and toolbars all look different... Good tip, but not for me... can you help me reverse it?
