This is Mark, the stock madman tongues back for another value stock tips edition. I want to talk to you today because a lot of people are interested in investing with foreign buffet. Foreign buffet is the Oracle of Omaha that is that his called and he is one of the most famous value investors of all time. His company Bercher Hathaway literally was priced at seven dollars in 1961 and it traded today at over $105,000.00. A lot of people who invested with him early on became multi millionaires and people like to own his stock just so they get the rights to go to his annual meeting once a year in Nebraska.
Now, what I am here to talk to you about today is I like to bring stock investing down to the level that people can understand it and I am kind of like your electronic broker with valuestocktips.com, my daily email, newsletter alert service. One of our holding as we recently purchased is Burkcher Hathaway class BRK.B or BRK/B depending on what corp service you are using. That is boy roger king.boy or boy roger king/boy.
The stock trades at about $3,500.00 per share, so we usually only buy like say you wanted to established at a $28,000.00 position you would buy six share and it will be $21,000. You have to be careful because you only can buy round number of shares. You cannot buy five and a half shares it is either five or six shares. So depending on whatever your size of your portfolio, you can buy some Burcher Hathaway.
The great thing about Burcher Hathaway class B is it trades at about 1.6 times revenue which it is not very expensive and he has $42 billion in cash that he can use for acquisitions, buying other stocks of other companies. I like Burcher Hathaway because basically it trades at about a 15% discount to its inherent value of its holdings and you give one buffet as a bonus managing your money too. So, if you want to invest with foreign buffet, buy some Burcher Hathaway class B BRK.B.
