Female: If you want to help attract birds into your garden then why not make your very own garden bird feeder like this one. All you’ll need is an old bottle like this Robinson’s bee natural squash bottle, some string, some scissors, bird seed, and a twig. Okay, let’s make a bird feeder.
Now, I’ve already started doing this. You need to get one of these and make some holes in the side. Now this is something that you must get your mom or dad, or grown up to do. And that’s going to be where the birds peck the seed from. Put that in there and the other side, mind your hand, don’t break it to your hand. There we go. And I want you push through that hole for me. Well done and hey, very good. And that’s where our little birds are going to land on. While you can pour some seed in for me.
Now it doesn’t matter if the seeds go at the table, because I think the birds will enjoy this, isn’t they. Okay the last bit, we need to put the lid on and you make a hole in the lids. Again, get an adult to do that bit. Then we put the string through. And then we do a knot at the end of the string and then, final bit, we put the lid on. And there you have your very own garden bird feeder.
Child: Can we feed them?
Female: Of course you can. Let’s go. So, get out, stay wild, and be natural.
