Start -> Run -> Type Msconfig
“StartUp” Tab
The “StartUp” tab contains a list of programs that automatically runs when you start windows. In Windows XP, most of them are useless. Simply uncheck everything you sure you don’t need. If you’re unsure about a program then please leave it checked.
