Hi, I am Sandy with A Floral and today we are going to make arm bouquet using calla lilies. I love call lilies both silk and fresh. Today, we are going to use this silk one from A Floral and we are going to use some stems of eucalyptus with it. Now, I have already taped this stem of eucalyptus with some light green floral tape. Because, the natural plastics then, is brown and I want it to look like it belongs with the calla lilies.
Calla lilies have a light green stem, so I am going to use some light green floral tape. And, cover these brown stems, so it looks more realistic. Remember, stretch and twist as you go and you noticed I am twisting the eucalyptus and not the tape.
We will take our eucalyptus and we will put one calla lily with it. Remember, when you are making this, this is an arm bouquet it will lay in your arms, so it needs to lay there quite beautifully. And, you want the flowers to angle out, so that people will see them. You do not want to bury them in your vase. We put a couple of flowers together and then we can tape those, so that they stay in place. Can you see how I am holding the tapes still and just twisting the flowers?
At this point, we can then add some more calla lilies to our bouquet. Is not that elegant looking already? Let us add two more and tape again, again look carefully we are just the taping in the same locations and this tape nicely sticks to itself to hold everything in place. Now, I am going to add another stem of eucalyptus, so we had eucalyptus, some calla lilies, more eucalyptus and we will end with a calla lily. And then to check it, lay it on your arm and see how that looks. It looks quite beautiful. Let us tape that together, here we go again right around the same location, a little more tape and look how beautiful that is laying on your arm, very elegant, very simple, and only five flowers.
Now, to finish it off, we can just wrapped some ribbon around here and you can use any color maybe white if you are the bride or ivory and after if you have girls carrying maybe smaller bouquet of calla lilies, you could do three for your girls and put a colored ribbon around it and all I am going to do is wrap some satin ribbon, right around where I have been hanging onto it. And, you can use a little floral adhesive glue and put it back on here seal it up tight and your bouquet is ready to go.
