This is TechSupportGoneBad and thank you for watching this video tutorial. Now what I’m going to do in this video tutorial is how to make a really cool Youtube icon for your channel like the one I have. Now don’t you guys know the reason I don’t have lucky talk of today, it’s because I want to show off my really cool desktop background. It’s TechSupportGoneBad and has like green graphics behind it and it’s just flat.
It looks really nice I made it and I just want to show it off. So the first thing to do is to open up Macromedia Fireworks. Open a new Macromedia Fireworks file and make the dimensions 100 x 75.
Basically now from this point on, just edit it the way you want it. These are some suggestions; you don’t have to do it like this but I’m just going to do it like this. Choose the right single tool and make the background black and give it a radiance of Starwars. Then I’m going to choose the ellipse tool and make a circle. Put it at the center. And I’m going to make this really looks best. This yellow one is a pretty good so see all in blue. Type fonts, TSGB, a little too big so let’s use the resizing tool.
Now let’s add some styles to this. Resizing tool, and there you have it. Now you could just mess around with it with the patterns, the styles. You could do a lot of this stuff with many limitless possibilities. But this is how I'm going to make it look like today. After you’re done with it, just go save as, control shift and S for the Shortcut key and save it as a jpeg file. I’m just going to name it as “YouTube background” and just click save.
At this point, all you have to do is to go to your YouTube account. Click edit channel. Go to personal profile and you will see your current YouTube channel icon. Now click choose an image and browse then find the icon which is right it says, “YouTube background”. Then just update channel and there you have it. It has a really cool graphics in the background
Now you go to your Youtube channel or this case, my Youtube channel, you will see the new icon that I have, “TSGB”. Just like that, as simple as that. It’s really easy and it looks really nice. Just mess around with the graphics, make it look really nicer than this. It’s really easy to do that. But I just leave this for demonstration purposes so I did it fast. There and that’s it.
