So, this top 5 list also item also submitted by Leandro Navarro and Leandro, I really appreciate this as I am sure others out there do as well. Number one, clean out and categorize your bookmarks. I do not about you but I intended just click bookmark this page and call good. Yesterday when I hit the little down arrow on Firefox to let the bookmark to scroll down, I counted. Not sites but seconds. 11 seconds were the scrolling bookmark is way too many, I agree. If you have not visited this site in a month, it is not important. Create a category list and then organize that list to bookmark after you eliminated all those things, you do not really need.
Do not create of miscellaneous category, catch all categories, do exactly that and soon become very difficult to use and you know what I do for my bookmarking systems, is there anyone to guess? I use Google; I do not save bookmarks anymore. I just search for it and for the most part I am able to find it. Google is my favorites.
Number two; delete programs you do not use. Why delete them when you have plenty of space on the drive? Well, because it makes things like scan and defrag, potentially run faster. It might now make your PC run any smoother but you will fell good knowing you are wasting space and more importantly, you have an overall inventory of the programs that you do actually use.
Number three, Unplug your PC. Take the cover off and clean out the dust. Yes, time to get rid of the dirt buddies. Investing some can air. Heat is a PC’s enemy and even in a clean environment, cleaning fence, suck dust through every opening and it builds up fast. If you have pets, do it once a month and clean it all and dust it, blow them, right at hatch to keep all the dust bodies in. Very good! That is it! Actually, it is the best of the bunch.
Number four, light your next blog post. If you use a blog quiet like blog desk to write and save offline, well, if not, write a text file, like in notepad or text at it if you have to use the Mac or I suppose VI if you are a Linux person, a text out of it able to suffice anyone. Took dry to the text file and format it after your connection is life. Not being connected may force you to write about something different. Like say, if I think to do what you have no internet connection.
Number five, run any minutes for per ramp, you do not have auto-schedule. Reclaim your drive space to all your PC to run smother.
And now for number six, a bonus tip, that is right! It is something I put offer a long time because it is so time consuming and no one really likes to think about what happens to the ones we love should have something happen to us. You may need kind of activity to accomplish this one which is written a title on these six things to do with the PC when you have no internet connection. But this one is still important. Write down your log-ins and passwords for all your sites blog, email accounts, add-ins, pay for rent, where you purchase your dominions etcetera. All that information is the key to your business. Is something should happen to you, your spouse should significant other, need more are not do you hear? Significant other will need that information.
When you are done, put the information in the safe deposit box or keep it in a fire resistance safe at the house and let the people that may need that information know where it is keep at that point.
Number six and number three, I think are great tips, but it is something to think about. I mean do not just, I mean I know I freak out when Comcast close down and let us face it. It is Comcast’s is more down that it is up this days but at that being said, hopefully not too long for you. Do not just think that you are computer is useless when you have no internet connection, you still can do other things and a lot of them are going to beat things that you do not really necessarily try doing that are important. Great list Leandro, I really appreciate it. As I said before, if you got a top 5 list of well, tips whether it is for anything, maybe it is about tack, maybe not. Maybe it is something not related to tech at all, I do not care. I will take any kind of top 5 lists, just email me Chris@Pirillo.com.
