Shouldn't the foot on the lead leg be pointed to the target? Twisting the knee in that way would seem to create problems overtime.

How To Play Baseball: Chair Drill

(Music playing) What Philip is doing is what we refer to as a chair drill. You notice he has got his right leg in a chair; he has got his left foot straight it out. He starts with his hand in the center body, he gets a small separation of hands and he goes towards the target. What we are working on is getting Philip to feel for himself a finishing over his front side leg. What we want to do is to make sure he throws through the ball, finishing over his left straight leg. This is another drill for isolate the lower half of the body. (Music Playing)
