How To Play Baseball: Home to First Base

[Music Playing] This is the simple drill that we do with each player showing them the proper way to run down the first baseline. As the player runs down the line, we make sure that he stays on the outside of the line running straight to the base hitting front of the base. [Music Playing] As he approaches the base we recommend that he keeps his head down and run right through the base and not lunge as he just did. The reason why we emphasize running on the outside of the baseline, number one is the rule and number if he is on the inside of the line he is out because of interference. [Music Playing]
