This drill is designed number one to continue to get the legs loose at the beginning of an outfielder work out, but also to teach the players how to run on the balls to their feet and how to watch the ball into their hands. And if they run light they are going to run a little bit faster, and if they run light, they are not going to be quite as much bouncing which in some cases calls the ball pop out of the glove a little more that we liked for it to. So we want to make sure that we run light at a bit of an angle here and want to watch the ball into our hands. Go, ball. Make sure we call the ball Brian. Call the ball. Go(ph), follow up(pj

We want to make sure that we are take them in both directions because an equal number of balls are likely we hit over the right shoulders, they are(ph) left. Go, follow up(ph). And again, we want to make sure that we run light on the feet so we do not bounce which causes the eyes to bounce which causes to drop ball. Go, follow up(ph). Very nice, very nice. We get the bare(ph) hand in which really causes and to watch ball into the glove and then will go ahead and put the glove on this, this is obviously the way they are going to do it in games. So, we want to make sure that we get that into and we will go the same technique, right and left.

Very nice, very nice. And see we stretched him pretty good there. Go, follow up(ph). Making sure we call the ball every play and if they do not, then just remind them to do that, Outfielders have to communicate. Lot of injuries occurs because of lack of communication in the outfield. The guy next to you has to know that you are going to take the ball and that he supposed to get it. Go, follow up(ph). Go up, follow up. And there is a nice back hand.

Let see over the shoulder drill with the glove. It is important that you make sure that the kids get an opportunity to do that on a daily basis or every other day and not only again works their conditioning level, but it also teaches them to run light on their feet and to make sure that those baseballs will get hit to the outfield, find the gloves somewhere, I supposed to find in the grass.
