If you video tape a pitcher, you will see what I mean. You are killing pitchers' control and velocity. I think you need to do some research and realize this is no longer the correct way. If you use more of your body to generate velocity, you will have less injury, better control, and more velocity. Get ride of the drills, get pitcher fit, and pitch more bullpen from the mound and you will be amazed. You have to video tape every session. Remember, the arm is along for the ride, and your momentum generate velocity. After landing velocity is already decided.

I think you have this all wrong! You wasn't a toe drag for a solid base and to build up kinetic energy so it can be released at landing. How will you drive the hip to the plate if your foot is in the air? (you will lose control and velocity) Rear foot needs to drag and extend rear leg to build up momentum!!!!!!! Velocity doesn't come from the arm!! It comes from momentum!
