Now we want to skip laterally without crossing the feet. Try and lift the knees as high the as the hips. Pull the toes up toward the shin. So we cock and load that ankle. We want to have that Dorsey Flexion. Cock and load the ankle by pulling the toe up. This prepares the foot to push off the ground explosively with more force. If the toe is pointed down we are slow to recover that ankle and apply force to the ground. Pull the knees up so we get a good full range of motion at the hips.
