If you are going to be a defensive rebounder. Different things that we have to do. Again, you have to understand philosophies. You have to want to get the rebound. More often or not, as a shot goes up on the glass, we have a tendency just to stand. We do not box out. You can watch guys from high school, college, up to the NBA. They do not box out. If you do not box out collectively as a team or individually. We are going to have a problem and usually, one of the statistics that can bear out is the team who is the best rebounding team, more often or not, wins on a long run.

Offensively.
What can we do to get the ball offensively?
A guy is going to make this move on you. If I am going to use a cross over pivot, I have to figure out as an offensive player on what to do. Gregory, I what you to box me out. As the shot goes up, if I would go to my right and Gregory would slide one step and go to box me out, offensive player.
How I am going to get by Greg?
I am going to try to do couple of moves that I can use, go back again, as I can try to step and get by him. I have to get heads and shoulders by him, if possible. So, he goes to make his move and crossover. I am going to fake right and try to come back to my left. The whole time, I think the key to being a offensive rebounder, besides a foot work, is keeping my hands up. If I can keep my hands up, if you watch some of the great rebounders go wild like Dennis Rodman, they are always going to the basket. He boxes me out. I fake right, I come back to my left, I keep my hands up here, maybe I can get by to him and get in front of him if possible, but at least I can get my hands maybe on the ball.
So Gregory, what I want to do is I want you to step to your left. You are going to take one step to slide and then you are going to cross over, right over left. I am going to fake to my right and come back to my left as the shot goes up. The shot goes—go—I step, I slide, I try to come in here. I am not looking to push his hand out of the way. Anything that you can do is fine. Try and box me out again.
I mean, you have to do things in a legal. I cannot come in here and throw him out of the way. I cannot come in here and throw him out of the way. I am just going to try to attack his leg and his knee and try to get my body beside him, if possible. So, as he boxes out, if I can get in this position and get a hand in here, then I think I have done my job. Ideally yes, I would like to be infront of him, so I can have a better offensive rebounding position.
