Walking hamstring stretch. Simply walking forward, switch legs as you reach out with the heel and pull up the toe of the leg that is out in front. Keep that leg straight. Maintain good posture, reach down with the opposite hand and touch the toe, this is a nice gentle walk and a gentle stretch for the hand string and the lower back.

By mixing in some walking stretches, we release the muscle tissue to relax. We do not want to continue to try and make it tight by forcing it to work. We want to take some time, keep our motion in movement but walk. Give some recovery time.

We are working on our conditioning right now as well as our warm up. I guarantee you these athletes, their heart rate is faster than normal. This continuous warm up does a great job of getting them prepared for practice in competition.
