How To Play Football: One Knee Passing

We are now going to move in to some quarterbacks’ skills that we used to help develop accuracy and strength for our quarterbacks. This is also a good drill form to loosen up with and develop by their passing accuracy. We have the quarterback kneel down, put the ball in front of him and assimilate as if he is getting a snap. He has got the strings out in front, quarterback will go hit, pick the ball, get his hands properly positioned on the ball, comeback to good throwing position, throw and release. He wanted to make sure that he do ten repetitions at each distance.

This is a good drill to be doing pre-practice. When you want to warm up, you boys before the practice actually starts, this is also a good pre-game practice to get thier arms loosened up.

It is very important that your quarterback develop good arms strength and this is a drill that will enable him to do it and also develop their accuracy. The main thing with quarterback it is you got a lot of reps in to develop that arms so in mid season, he is throwing well. This is a drill that you can get a lot of reps in and you only need your two or three quarterbacks to get the job done.
