How To Play Football: Pitch Drill

Music Playing Now to help develop our pitching, this is a good team drill. We are able to get a lot of reps between the quarter back and also the running back. (Demo) Pitches the ball, catches it, quarter back leads the block, leads the play. [Music Playing] It is very important that as a team you get a lot of repetitions in. This is a drill that even in mid-season you should be doing 10 to 15 times each practice to the right and also to the left. [Music Playing] Where now going to the left side. It is very important that the quarter back leads the tail back but hits him in the numbers. [Music Playing] Also, as you are running this drill you want to make sure that you are interchanging your quarter backs so everybody gets a lot of reps at this drill. [Music Playing]
