When it comes to pump blocking, it is very similar to path blocking. The offensive player wants to strike the defense, pitch to the inside and then form a cap forcing the defensive player away from the kicker. When the ball is kicked, the offensive lineman will release and fan out and stay in their lanes and cover the pill.

At the end of the practice is we always like the end, we are going to practice in plant formation and plant team. It is a good way to end your practice, everybody goes down on the ball.
