i hate to be a nitpicker, yet i must comment on the fact that anyone who feels the need to point out that this song was in fact in A Mixolydian, and not A Major, clearly loves taking gigantic schwanzes up their pooter.

I hate to be a nitpicker, yet I must comment on your saying that the song is in A Major. When a G natural is repeatedly played, and a G sharp never is, then the piece is considered to be in A Mixolydian. Great job of putting something of worth on the internet. Thanks for having meaning.

How To Play Mandolin: Old Joe Clark

The next piece, I am going to show you is a tune and instrumental, very standard old tune, that probably everybody had placed Bluegrass. Now, so, it is another good one for just being involved with jam sessions and playing with people. It’s called “Audio Clark” from old tiny film music again, and the key of A Major and I just get right into it and play it for you (Demo) The tab I wrote out for you, there is a couple of spots that is really just a tiny bit different but you will be able to get the basic idea. One thing you will notice is if you place this music long enough, it is hard to stick to exactly one way of playing something and so maybe you can sub pickup the discrepancy by Erin. Learned the two or three little wrinkles that I put in there that are different from the tab and pick those up by listening to the DVD.
