AGILITY DRILL 4

SKIP & CROSSOVER

Skip and Crossover. This is great for that explosive crossover step that we need for base stealing and defensive skill. Simply bring the knee up and rotate the hip. Keep the foot right underneath the hamstring. Don't reach with the feet, that's bad positioning. We want to stay in power as much as possible.

Down and back with each leg is one repetition. Do three sets of three repetitions. Keep the core solid, sucking in the belly button and tucking in the back. Stabilize that core. Use the arms for good balance. Generate great force by driving that knee across the body as you rotate the hip.

SKIP & CROSSOVER DETAILS

* Use a 10 yard distance.
* Down & Back = 1 set.
* Complete 3 sets.
