Alright, in this video I’m going to show you how to repost your Ad on the Backpage.
Go to Backpage.com. Scroll down to the bottom where it says “Account Log-in”. And you got to type in your log-in information. Pick the Ad that you want to repost. So, we’re going to just repost this Ad here. We’re going to go where it says “Manage Ad”. Draw and hold down the apple key next to the spacebar. It’s going to open up a new tab. Okay. All we’re going to do is repost it. So what we’re going to do is hold down the apple key again. Open up a separate tab again and click on “Edit your Ad”. Here it is.
And what we want to do is hold the apple key again at third time or open a four tab. Just want to click on “Post an Ad” Best way is to shortcut to go in the right to the category that your Ad is already in. And that’s if the Ad category you want. There you go.
So what we’re going to do, we’re going to click back on this tab here and then select all this. Copy it and paste it in the new Ad box and then on the description, same thing. We’re going to all add, select all. Copy and then paste. Scroll down a little bit further. Make any changes you want. In this case, I don’t want people emailing me and then click on continue. It’s going to ask you to fill out capture code on the next page. Right here and click on “Place Ad now” and there you go. So you want to see what it looks like? Click on the link right here and presto.
And then you want to go back to your existing Ad, and these are your old Ad and go ahead and delete it, by clicking here. And yes delete my Ad. Go back to the account. I’m going to re-load this page. Refresh it. Yes I do. And here we go. Here is the old Ad. Posted back in February. Removed. Then new Ad and now live. And that is how you re-post your Ad at Backpage. Again, this is similar to Craigslist. You don’t want to over post your Ads or you can get flagged and have all your Ads removed. Worst case scenario you can also have your account banned. So always make sure when you’re re-posting, to go ahead and delete the older Ad.
And the reason why you want to do this, why you want to re-post rather than wait for things to expire? Because Backpage Ads typically last thirty to forty five days. Most of them I think for forty five days and depending on the category and city you have your Ad posted in, it can get buried way down on the fourth, fifth, sixth, tenth page and nobody, I mean a lot of for people are going to see it so this is a way to bring your Ad up to have it show up higher on the results without being a spammer or over post. Okay?
