Welcome to tinkernut.com's video cast. If you enjoy these videos, please support them by subscribing or commenting below. In this video, I am going to show you a cool website that allows you to stealthily surf the web. It allows you to hide the fact that you are surfing the web, kind of like camera flash almost. So this is great for work or school or other places like that.
The website to go to is called vanishd.com and you can click on the big red Sign Up now link to sign up for a free basic account. Then, once you click Continue and agreed to terms of agreement, and click Continue again, it takes you to a Launch page.
So if you click the big red Launch button, it will show you something like this. It will automatically start the program, and you'll see a little square that has a different website, and the website you are actually on. To change this, you can go up to the Toolbar and change the cover page, to change the main page, or you can also change the hidden page to change the page that's within the square. If you move the square around, it shows you the web page that's underneath it. You can also, if you don't want to do a web page, you can launch a simulated Excel spreadsheet, and surf the web from within the Excel spreadsheet.
If you have a Mac, it also has Safari, and then you can also choose PowerPoint, and it will look something like this. My favorite is the Microsoft Word Simulator and you can surf the web from within Microsoft Word, and go to different websites like that. If you just mouse outside of the Microsoft Word Application, the screen will disappear. To get it back, just click Vanishd. So that's a good way to quickly get rid of it.
So here is what it looks like on web page tinkernut.com and all I did was I went to the Hidden Page option in the upper left-hand corner, and just changed the address of the hidden page. So like I said, if you use the Scroll button, you can Maximize or Minimize the Square and if you mouse to the outside of the application, it's going to automatically disappear for kind of like a quick getaway. Alright, that's it for this tutorial. For more, go to tinkernut.com.
