You can combine any exercises in this video to form your own warm up and flexibility routine for the sport you play. The following is a recommended total-athlete-flexibility warm-up that will be beneficial for all athletes in all sports.
The total athlete flexibility warm up: Active exercises, arm rotation, ankle skips, knee hugs, toe over knee run, Russian march, Carioca, drop skip, side slides, stationary exercises, quads, hamstrings, adductors and abductors, gluteus and lower back, hip-flexor and abdominals, arm pulls.
Innervation exercises: Linear quick skip, lateral crossover skip, drop skip, forward turn ons, lateral turn ons, Howells.
You can also design a sport specific warm-up and flexibility routine. Determine which exercises, in this video, simulate specific movements in your sport.
For example, single arm circle simulate the same movement as throwing a baseball. Wide skips simulate the same movement as beating an opponent. Hurdle walks simulate the same movement as jumping over a hurdle.
