Alright, the top five tips for taking care of your guitar Chris that might be interesting to submit a non-tech related top five lists. So, why not some tips on taking care of your guitar. These tips can also apply to most other musical instruments as well. Well, I love non-tech tip tap. Non-tech tap tips so here we go. Number five, store and arrange from mid nip temperature controlled room, putting your guitar on a room that has constantly changing temperatures in humidity levels can be bad for it. Remember that a guitar is basically just a piece of wood so it is sensitive to humidity and the like. The consequence maybe as little as the strings getting out of tune but it maybe as severe as the neck of the guitar warping which is very hard if not impossible to fix.
You know by the way they have electric guitars now that will electronically tune themselves, real guitars in sake. Number four, clean the fret board regularly. When you play the guitar, dust and dead skin can fall into the frets which can get stuck and it grooves the wood, overtime building up and will look very bad. Sweat in those things may build up as well. I have seen a guitar which had some sort of black build up on the frets and it was very disgusting. I would never play guitar in such condition. Build up like this can potentially block the strings Number three, change the strings regularly. Changing then strings is just like changing the tires of your car. Would you want to drive around on a very old worn out set of tires NO that is dangerous. And it would probably be you know more than just dangerous because it is just insane. While old strings are quite as dangerous, they can rust and potentially snap off and hit you in the face like that one scary movie where some of the harp harps chord thing snap back and weep some girl’s eye out. I do not how I will handle, how I remember that. I do not even know the name of that movie if anybody remembers it go ahead and type it because I can not remember which is never a pleasant experience. By cleaning the strings, you will also improve the quality of your sound, the guitar will produce. Rock stars do not change the strings on their guitars before every show just for the fun of it after all. Old strings can get out of tune a lot faster than new ones. Also, make sure you buy the correct gauge of strings, changing to a gauge that is significantly higher ten or then the previous one can have negative effects on it, such as bending, warping or even cracks to the opening in the woods. I say it again, changing to a gauge significantly higher than the previous ones can have negative effects. Number two, invest in a good case and or stand for your interment, buying a chief case or stand is never a good idea. Why spend hundreds or even thousands on a guitar when you are going to put it into a ten dollar case which may fall apart as you are holding it. Your investment may just crash down in the ground. A good stand is always useful and I have not even thought about this until recently when I went out and bought a new stand for my guitar. How the stand is built can have a positive and negative effect on the instrument. Well, things like where the guitar is being supported and can affect the guitar negatively. By getting a stand that hangs the guitar from that head stock rather than one that it sits on is better for the neck joint which is a very sensitive part of the guitar. Number one is once a bit subjective he notes but it is a good thing to invest in guitar cleaners and polishers. The locker on and instrument can wear off over time which makes sense and it may not work evenly so you may end up with the strangely painted guitar. You should get a guitar cleaner and polisher can help prevent this as well as make your guitar look nicer. Having a clean instrument makes you look more professional, very true.
Good points for those of you who own guitars or think about owning a guitar or wanting to pass along guitar tips to somebody else with these guitar care tips. It is a very important and if you have always want to learn how to play the guitar. I do not know if I can this really help you in the video. I could see if I can find some other resources for you to look up. I am sure it is not as easy as they may get look and you are likely you are going to be sticking with cooking buttons on some pseudo instrument or playing frets on fire with your computer keyboard. Frets on fire by the way, is the open source version of a guitar here or type of game that can be played on your computer.
