How To Test Your Static Water Pressure

So in order for us to design your sprinkler system to the right specifications for your yard we need to know what your water pressure is like and there’s two different ways that we can get an idea of what your water pressure is like. It’s best to have both but one or the other will help us a lot in designing your system. One way is to check the flow and I’ve got another video that shows you a kind of a make shift way to measure the flow which is the 5 gallon pail and a stopwatch. And the other way is to test the static pressure and what we’ve got for that is basically a pressure gauge and what you do is this end is treated and what you do is you just go to your outside water tap and you screw that on and crank on your water and the gauge will show what the static pressure is.
