I have a problem doing it, well, doing it goes okay, but then it starts tracing and right after it's finnished tracing the "run" tab goes down so i can't see the final ip numbers, what shall i do?

How To Trace Any IP-Address Or Website

Have you ever wanted to know the location of an IP address? Well, now you can do that. Go ahead and go to start, and run and run your command prompt. And when you get your prompt window, type tracert, space and then the name of the IP address that you want to locate. In this case, let us just try www.whitehouse.gov. Now tracert will start at your IP address and go trough all the steps to locate the final IP address that you have selected. Here we can see it in the screen, write down the numbers that you get because you are going to need to enter them in this free website. Now, open up your browser and type in www.IP-address.com as shown here. Then take the final IP address numbers that you saw in your command prompt and enter them in the dialogue box and click look up. Now you are instantly given a map with the IP address location. And if you click on big satellite picture, it will actually give you a satellite image of the location of the IP address you just traced. It could come in pretty handy someday.
