Alright, today, we are going to talk about tuning. Tuning is a very important when you are playing piano or guitar or whatever you are playing, because you need to have a consistent instrument. You need it so that when you play it the same way next time, you get the same sound. So, that is why you need for your tuning to be proper.
One thing you can do as far as tuning is you can get a guitar processor like this, that has a sound tuner on it. That is one thing you can do. The problem with relying on that is first of all you have to buy it, second of all, you have to have it with you.
Each string here, the next one down is related to the one above it. So, this string, once you get to the 5th fret here, this are each one of these groups here, frets tuning, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Once you have get to the 5th fret here, this note here is suppose to be the same as this note on the next string down all the way open. Sounds like rage huh!
Anyway, the 5th one here, 5th one here, 4th one here, 5th one here; it matches up to that open the strings under it.

So, that is tuning, let us see what happens with this format. This might get faster, this might not. It is new for me so, you know, teaching takes long as it takes. Another couple of points, I am doing stuff for my eyesight, right off my computer. I got a regular eight dollar hardware store light, powering the lighting. I like it so far, we will see how it goes. Nothing fancy on this. So, that is a little point, you can do this stuff yourself, that is what the whole series about. It is about recording yourself for video tape and your song in making your own videos, and whatever you are going to do it is DIY. It is being your own rock star, being whatever you want to be. So, anyway, that is it. We will come back and this was new in November.
