Both versions of windows have very similar uninstalled methods; available via the XP or the Vista control panel. The first thing you do whether you are in Vista or XP is to locate in the control panel. Click the start button, and then select control panel. If you are using the control panel home view, just go down and click uninstall a program. If you are using the classic view, you scroll down and click programs and features. It doesn't matter which one you use, both of them take it to the same place.
I'll uninstall this program seven zip. I select it, this pops up, just click here. This is the location that you've install it to and click uninstall and it's done. Sometimes it'll ask you to restart the computer, if it does, just restart it. But make sure you have everything closed, so you won't lose any information. Say, if you are typing a Microsoft word files or excel you'll use your information. Just click finish when you done.
