How To Wear Animal Inspired Looks
Today we’re going to take you on a walk on the wild side and show you four new ways to our animal inspired pieces for fall.
From shoes to bags, it — were not in short supply on the runways with the less traditional items like dresses, skirts and jackets have inspired us to push this trend this further.
Dries Van Noten, Mulberry and Dolce&Gabbana showed animal accent and celebrities including, Ashlee Simpson, Sienna Miller and Jessica Alba have been spotted literary around town in this trend.
Animal prince make a bold statement so making them flirty and youthful but still daytime appropriate can be tricky. Whether you're headed to the office or going to lunch, this top that Adriana is wearing from See by Chloe is the perfect way to mix the leopard in a less obvious way. Look for animal prince that read more graphic than leopard.
Now this silk blouse has larger spots with a bold and brighter pattern and its got a really cute puff sleeve. Now since that it's dress here, we toned it down with casual all trousers by Alex & Eli and tucked in the top. However, you can also go for skinny - and let the top thing loosely.
A black hiking booty like this one by Miss Me that we found on Endless.com has a utilitarian feel and contrast well with felinity of the top. And the brown Tory Burch bags finished up the look.
For the downtown girl on the go, we created a look that’s girly with some edge. Go for a teared waffle bopper skirts like this one from —. Now this is standard brown and black leopard but it's made fresh with a delicate flutter skirt. When showing off this strong print in a shorter mini, off set it with a right top and shoes.
We balance the feminine flirtiness of the skirt with a flouchy navy sweater from Top Shop. The leather panels on the shoulders really play up the rocker feel. And we continue the downtown vibe with a pair of flat navy oxford by Steve Madden. You can easily update this look for night with a pair of black killer pose.
There is no shortage of leopard out there but they are other animals like kingdom to choose from. For as sleek party look, be adventurous and slip into snake skin. This dress from H&M has a simple stream line silhouette and beautiful chiffon detailing around the neckline. We love how the foe snake skin print is subtle but still packs a punch plus this dress is totally price-friendly.
To elevate the look, throw on a cropped faltered jacket in leather color and choose one with texture to add some contrast. This H&M jacket lightens up the outfit and adds the element of looks. This look strong on top so pair it with a classic black show booty and your ready for cocktail hour.
Now animal inspired looks don’t always have to printed. Since they are inspired by the wild, try adding any feathers which have a similar vibe.
Here we dialed up the drama with this bold statement feather jacket by Tory Burch that totally makes us feel like Kate Moss in Paris. You can get similar edgy sheik feel with the best like this one from Rebecca Taylor that’s still rich with less fabric.
Contrast the volume on top with tied body hogging leggings on the bottom. These are by Helmut Lang and add a basic easy white tank. A gold, long chain necklace is great accessory here at least the neck line open and add a touch of color. Chunky deer gram booties bring the whole look together.
From traditional leopard to animal inspired feather accent, there are lots of creative ways to incorporate the wild side into your wardrobe.
