Let us see if I can help show you how to make a Diaphragm figure or balloon base. It should look something like this. I made this one earlier, so actually, probably one of the best one I have made but, the diaphragm would look ugly in that, let us go to work.
So, here we go. We start with a 260 balloon that is partially inflated maybe I do not know, almost 2/3rd up the way or maybe something like that. And you take the end, you then twist the bubble an inch maybe something like that, maybe a little less. Twist it twice, okay?
Now, you are going to hold that bubble once— twist it over like that, grab that whole thing and do a twist. See how this will crease in there, that is the ear twist right there.
And because it is the balloon on both side of it that is inflated, it is going to stick. So I usually about ½ or 2/3, and that sticks pretty good. And one of the reasons you are leaving extra air at the end it is because, as you go along with the balloon here, that this end gets a lot tighter as you do this twist. And because I am not good like Diaz, I actually knew just kind of, you kind of just squeeze on this end and that end blows a little bit and we are going to do or try, because that is tight.
Okay, so now I am going to do another ears twist, it is getting to your twist okay, so you only have two ears and it looks like a little dog, is not that cute?
Squeeze a little more out— (Demo)
Okay, so now I have got two ear twists and three ear twists and the original bubble. And, move that out a little bit. (Demo)
And now I got one, two, three, four ears for this and the original bubble. You want more to do a twist and then I am going to try to put it off (Demo)
And, there you go, so now, you have got this ugly mess with much of ear twist and the original bubble, the basic we can get here is kind of tram, or rearrange them and so there (Demo)
As if you are just moving around carefully, trying to make sure that you are (Demo)
And then we could do is, you pop the end, the big end. And first, it is going to stay together because all these are twisted very well. What I do is I pinch off about halfway, pop the end with a pin or something or just pull or something like that, pop it.
And then slowly, let the air out so that it is kind of tram like that in this whole thing and then, take the hand and wrap it around the (Demo)
See I am doing that. (Demo)
So then you have with that gross and ugly little diaphragm. It is like my things kind of felt bad just now I only have four twists and the original but hey, it works. You now know how to work to make a balloon base.
There you go, hope that helps, have making your balloon base and watch the other how to video on my channel if you want to see the whole thing, that is just the diaphragm part. Have fun.
