Hey everyone, I am Eric Rochow and this is Real World Green. That's Henry, Mij just in the back. I'm trying to get Moose to say hello, and this is Moose. Anyway today, we're going to talk about how to increase your fuel efficiency in your car, and one way is to use your cruise control.
Everyone, most cars now come with cruise control. It's somewhere on your dash, or somewhere on the steering column here. By using cruise control, you can increase your fuel efficiency by up to 15%, and here's why. When your car is running at a constant rate, it's running at its most fuel efficient, and my fingers being this. But anyway, the smoother your car engine runs, the more fuel efficient it is. When you're driving, you kind of tend to accelerate and then you stop, and you accelerate and you let off. If your engine's running at one rate, it's much more fuel efficient.
Another bonus to this is, if you set the speed limit you want to drive at, you don't get that speed creek. When you're on long distance travels, and all of a sudden you are going 85 miles an hour. Well, if you set your cruise control to set speed, you're going to avoid speeding tickets, just making sure it's not eating anything in there. But anyway you know what I mean.
Use your cruise control, better fuel efficiency, avoid speeding tickets, and drive safer. Alright. Come to the Green House, tell me what you think, green-house.tv and let me know. Alright, make it a great day. See you! Say good bye.
