Thank you for this, but I would like to add some more. My university professor enlightened us regarding some new archeological discoveries in which the foundations of the "court" were found from where the trial is supposed to have taken place. The area couldn't fit more than 200-300 people maximum. How can anyone condemn a whole nation on what a small minority could have said or done? Also, being Passover, religious Jews would have been home in a kosher environment. If Jesus was supposed to be killed by Jews over religious reasons, who would be his present accusers? The argument is illogical. Also, there is mention that the conspiring Jewish leaders wanted to arrest Jesus earlier at the Temple but "feared the crowd who loved him." Ah... so if the CROWD of Jews loves him and no more than 200-300 people were there to "condemn" him... how in the world can anyone logically lay this upon the WHOLE JEWISH NATION?! Oy. Also, how many people have Jews cr

The very fact that you have to defend yourselves deserves some serious attention. Even though the Jews did not physically nail Christ to the wooden post, it is you that still to this day find yourselves defending your people. This merits attention. I love the jewish people however, I believe there is something fundamentally missing with your people when it comes to the SON OF GOD! Let us pray for each other that God may have mercy on all those who Love Him with a pure heart.

Dear Rabbi Ginsburg, Thanks for your video and balanced comments. I believe and teach that Jesus´ death was not a tragic accident or a human plot but rather God´s plan of mercy and atonement. Anyone who hates the Jews is simply an ignorant racist and not a real Christian. I know such people exist but as for me, my congregation, and my fellow pastors and Christian friends, we love the Jewish people, wish the very best for you, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

you want to try to say that Martin Luther was blaming jews for what their ansesters did. but that's not true. he wanted to blame jews for what they were doing. and i think you know that. again, the russian, they didn't have a thing about what the ansesters did to jesus, they were concerned over the mafia ruining the lives of the poor people of russia, being over run by drug dealers + prostitutes. that's the problem the czar had. they were so brutal? and violent, when the czar declined visas to american jews settleing in russia? how violent of them to prevent the evil jew from invadeing and perverting their people. Just like the germans, you try to tell people they were racists but it's not true. neither was it about their ansesters. you will be killed again. look i will destroy israel. Now the dogma that protect you will condemn you.

Martin Luther explain the same thing. He said, as a christians we understand that it was for the sins of the world, and not for the jews. but went to say further, that the jew would take credit gleefully and proudly, and that they also dispise jesus, but further, despise what he stood for, which meant to be honest, and fair. that's what martin luther said. And look at the people on this thread. That is and has been how christians have said it, and put it, and described it, but you don't care. you just want to spin lies. you are evil, you are a jew. that is true.

well most christians dont know what it really means to be a trur fallower of jesus. it is even more strict then any other religion. no christian can harm another human. likewise the romans commicted the act of exuction under the authority and presures of the jewish leaders of the time (according to new teatament). because he was of god and also to the teaching he spoke the jews had the duty to excute him. well it really doesnt matter but we are really repeating the reasons of the new testament being written or to the reason jesus came to earth and spoke. it is to abstrain in any and all ways from money and power under all condition because it leads to corruption and unspeakable acts

It is not anti-Semitic to say that the Jews were involved in the crucifixion, just as it is not anti-Roman to say that the Romans were involved in the crucifixion. I am a Christian, and according to the scriptures Jesus freely gave Himself up to death for the sins of all mankind. It is what He came to do. So to a true Christian it doesn't really matter who was involved. All that matters is that He died for each one of us. The scriptures indicate that a few Jews incited the rest of the crowd to follow them in persuading the Romans to crucify Him. I believe this, but just because I believe this does not make me a Jew hater, anti-Semitic, or a blamer of the Jewish race. To me it is just history, and I am as guilty as putting Jesus on the cross as anyone else. I encourage you to listen to the song "How Deep the Father's Love for us" on Youtube. This song sums up the Christian view as to who really put Him on the cross.

Sure, I don't blame you for killing Jesus. I blame you for stealing the pennies from my piggy-bank every time you come over.
