How Weather Affects Our Moods

Speaker: did you ever notice how your spirits seem to lift when you are slip on some shorts and head outside on a beautiful spring day, you are not imagining things, good weather really can lift people spirits. In one study the more time people spend outdoors at the warm weather the more their mood bright not only that, but their memory in openness to new information also got a boost. Just 30 minutes outside is enough to do the trip but the temperature has to be just right 72 degree Fahrenheit seems to be the magic number. Hotter weather can actually make people more ordinary.

That's more like it? So if warm sunny weather makes you happier shouldn't everyone just moved to Hawaii or LA, now don't pack your bags just yet. Research finds that people who live in warm climates year around aren't really any happier than those who live in say New York or Alaska week after week of sunny weather tends to get old after a while. I guess you need to make it through those harsh winter months to really appreciate the spring with Wellness and Weather.
