Erik Michielsen: How is your college business professor deal with mentoring shape your
practical approach to managing a business?
Mike Germano: Well, we are in the business in the social media industry that we don’t
really know what the next step is; it’s always exciting it’s always something new. But the idea of
managing people of managing a business scaling that business about cash flow and by all those
things isn’t traditional problem. And only I put those things that they’re going it along but they
always need to have a discussion with a you know entrepreneur be connect with the right people,
you know whether it’s been reading books about it even though you might be in a brand new
industry in there is a lot of fundamentals that are the same and luckily for us you know I intend
to take university with one of my other business partners and we had a great professor name Del
who saw a lot of what Bobby and I were doing to experience a couple of years back you know he
had sold this business and become professor but he saw a lot of the same promise that we are
having you know different names, different issues but the fundamentals were the same. And to
have kind of sit down and explains toward that he went through and whether it was you know
what the promise with his solution room, what the outcomes were. It really give us a lot of you
know it was always like downloading experience from someone where we were able to then
have a better way of looking and assessing our promise and coming up of what we thought as a
solution and more of plug and play type of you know experience instead of kind of filling out on
her won. We have several date when we did this, this was the outcome let’s try to go a different
approach. You know was the exact problem but once again the foundation being entrepreneur in
the managing of people, the managing approach and the managing of your brain is very similar
across all different company so having someone has been there before and then also just to hear
them say yeah its supposed to be scary, this isn’t for everyone, you know it’s okay to fail
sometime, it’s okay to you this first business doesn’t work out but you know you are on the
something that you believing and keep going for and instead it’s for me at least. And I know
there are entrepreneurs are different but for me it’s the passionate gets me up in the morning and
to be able to share that with someone else and to have them kind of almost be your cheerleader is
extremely important. What get you excited it get you want to continue to do what you’re doing.
