So you’ve got your new HD Camcorder. You’re dying to see the footage. How can you do it? Of course, you can always watch the footage on the little view finder here, but that’s not the same thing as seeing on the big screen. Well, fortunately there are a lot of solutions for that.
So if you have a camera like this, basically you can use a cable that comes with the camcorders, they all provide this, which has the red-white-yellow if you have standard definition or the red-green-blue if you want the HD version of it. Basically plugs to the side of the camcorder, plug this in your TV and you’re off to go to the races, you can now start watching it.
Now because it’s a digital, and if you have a digital television set or an HDMI with a HDMI connection, you can use an HDMI cable. This is HDMI cable, basically plugs into your camcorder like this, and this plugs into your TV set, gives you the audio, the video, and the control, and now you can watch your movies in full HD. Of course, there’s a better way of doing it also.
Most of these cameras now record on SD cards. This little SD cards allow you to put quite a bit of information on this SD card. Now, some TV sets by Panasonic for example, allow you to take the SD cards to get directly into the TV, and you can watch it right off the card, no cables needed, watch it directly off the card. Of course, you can also watch it in your computer. Some computers also have SD card slots, you can stick this in, play it directly on the computer. Or if you don’t have a computer with SD card slot, an inexpensive little adaptor like this will take the SD card, plug in the computer and you can watch it on the computer.
Also, if you have a TV set with a USB connection and has a play backing ability, you could use the same thing.
So, the bottom line is lots of ways of doing it. Remove the chip, plug it into your computer plug it into your TV, if you got a TV that’s so equipped, you’re in great shape. Otherwise, there are always the cables to connect to that.
