It’s easy to get hook on the rankings. It’s really not about rankings. You can go to the best school in the world and if it doesn’t get you where you want to go jus to help you achieve your goals and it really is important.
Going to business schools is a huge decision. You need to do your do diligence not just about the curriculum or a little obviously that’s important. But also about who the alarms are, who your current students would be, who the professors are, how comfortable will you be at that particular school. So by all leads just talk to everyone you can, visit the school, you'll be able to tell within 15 or 20 minutes whether that’s where you want to be.
And also, think about your own goals. Take the time to sit-down and ask yourself why do I need an MBA? Why do I need an MBA from this particular school? These are questions you’re going to have to answer really, really well on your application anyway in order to be successful. So ask them yourself. First, once you’ve chosen a school, get all the help you can because competition is fierce.
Put it all together though and you will be well along the way, achieving your goals.
