What pathetic video! Those were horrible forehands, technique was totally wrong, you are a crap coach, please do NOT post useless videos and waste others' precious time

That forehand is totally wrong! An obvious example of poor coaching! The arm is doing all the work - poor use of shoulder rotation. The coach here has emphasized that the pupil must follow through over the shoulder - he has neglected to observe that she is not using the shoulder turn in synch with the arm movement - there is no proper loop swing - look at the racquet take-back path. Also, her non-playing arm is loose and dangling - she doesn't know what to do with it - it should contract into the body; she has it dangling on her left side. Nobody at good club level hits like this! A result of very poor coaching.

And among forehands the inside-out or inside-in shots are not only exciting to hit, they are also fun to watch. Take a look at Kalindy giving these high action shots a try. An Inside-out forehand is, simply put hitting a ball that is coming in towards your body out away from your body. If both players are right-handed, this means running around your backhand and hitting to your opponent's backhand. And inside-in forehand is the same shot, just hit into the open court down-the-line. The challenging part of both of these shots is having sound footwork. Two keys to hitting these shots successfully are to not only try these shots when you anticipate a slower and shorter ball, but also after moving quickly around the ball remember to also move forwards into the court to hit it.
