Hi, I'm Angela. I started practicing Chinese medicine 12 years ago as a way to deal with my allergies. Now I run a little clinic in my hometown in CT, where I live with my husband and three children.

I am really impressed at how ignorant the previous commenter is..obviously they do not know much about physiology (particularly the nervous system). They have also been so bold as to show Joe public how narrow-minded they are, considering that acupuncture is one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) forms of medical treatment. If it were really a hoax, I would doubt it would be in existence today. Not to mention the ever increasing research and documentation on its successfulness in treating infertility. The only victim here is him/her (previous commenter) because obviously they have fallen victim to their own nescience...

One thing to add to my previous post. This man has a master's degree in environmental sciences. This means that his opinion on medicine, health, and physiology are maybe slightly more informed than any other layman. He's not an expert on the subject he's speaking about, nor is he a doctor. Just some guy who got tired of his field and went into quackery. Beware.

How does it work? It doesn't. What you're seeing here is clever use of the placebo effect in very simple ailments and disease. It's pretty apparent to anyone familiar with logic and philosophy that in the first fifteen seconds, he removes the burden of testability and falsifiability to his form of "treatment" ; by claiming that whether or not it works depends on how well the patient responds to it. Then, he replaces the actual spiritual and chi terminology with "electricity&qu ot; in an attempt to appear scientific. This is pseudoscience, and this man is a quack. There is a very minute amount of electricity in the human body, and it doesn't flow or have much of anything to do with disease. This guy's claims are extremely unconservative about what we know about the human body and disease. I could go on, because it's sad charlatans like this guy are quick to rip off some unsuspecting victim. It doesn't take much research or learning to learn that this video has explained absolutely nothing.
