I am Steve Turrano, Welcome to this episode of body performance. How often you should be training in waiver. What you really asking is how often should I be training a specific muscle. Which you have to take into consideration is this? What kind of shape the muscle? What kind of shape a person in and how hard you are going to be training. You see if you are not in good shape, we have not work out in the long time; you cannot go to the gym and work yourself to death. You would not be able to the next 3 or 4 days, if you cannot comb your hair, brush your teeth or change your underwear when occur of the pain you are not going to be happy camper. So, if you are not in good shape go to the gym and train easy, train gently but train frequently so I will suggest training your entire body on Monday then you get on Wednesday and then again on Friday.
Now, what you will begin to do is we will begin to get you into shape, be get you in to a shape easily, slowly and gently without making you paralyze and then as we pick up the intensity of you work out so as you begin to get in better, better shape. We get out on more weight, a few extra reps and extra set and then pretty soon your training with the decent amount of intensity and now what we have to do is add more rest between your work outs so we can really pick up the intensity. So that you can train on Tuesday, and Friday or Monday and Thursday so your training your body twice a week instead of three times a week but you increase the intensity by adding more weight, more sets, more reps or more exercises and this is how you need to be thinking. What kind of shape of my hand and how hard do I want to train? The harder you train, the more rest you are going to need.
As far work out programs like I said Monday, Wednesday, or Friday is good. Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, Friday is good and once you really begin a good shape. You do not break your body parts, your not training your entire body in one day train half of your body on Monday the other half on Tuesday take, Wednesday day off. Repeat the process half body on Thursday the other half on Friday take Saturday and Sunday off. I hope that helps. Love your body.
