How the Swine Flu Spreads

You can have a pig hanging out where ever they may be, this particular instance most likely Mexico. And here you are, you are in a pig farm, the pigs are hanging out. The pigs get the flu just like we do. But sometimes that pig will not only have a pig flu virus, but as you seen there a human flu virus and maybe a bird flu virus, they all come together, they exchange genetic material. And then like you said, it can go to human. Once it goes to humans, humans can pass it from one person to the next and in crowded places, they can then spread very rapidly from one country to the next. And what you are seeing there is just how quickly the virus can jump from one human to the next across the country.
