360-Kick Flip
Speaker 1: 360-kick flip is a kick flip and the board does a full 360o rotation so that your board ends up the same way it started. And it is kind of become a standard street check, so we want to show you the best way to do it.
Speaker 2: You are going to start out with your free foot placed in the right spot, which is very important with this trick. Front foot, you are to set up like a kick flip. Back foot, you are going to hang your toe off a little more than you would like a pop shove it.
Speaker 1: It is more like a scoop as you, you pop even. You cannot scoop over with your back foot and you throw almost the scissor kick. Your front foot goes out a little bit,
And your back foot goes behind you and that starts the board spinning. The kick flip is all with front foot but the spin is really in your back foot.
Speaker 2: You go on and just keep your upper body straight and looking down, kick the board below you. Look for grip tape; that is an angle, you are to land on that part. Some people are going to land at a different.
If you can pop it up into your front foot that is going to help you. Guide it a little bit better and making more consistent with it and if not, just look for the grip tape and jump on it, try to ride away.
Speaker 1: Practice the kick. The kick is all it takes. It is like, if it is not spinning enough, just give a little more kick and watch it come around. You do not have to catch as high as Eric does.
Speaker 2: But we are going to go to 360 flip now. Watch.

Speaker 1: As you all, you kicked your front foot forward to start the flip,
And your back foot out starts to spin.
Be careful not to keep the board too far ahead of you by keeping your upper body over it.
(Demo)
Catch the board as it comes around waiting for it to complete the spin before pushing it down on the ground.
(Demo)
You can come tape for an under spinning by kick turning slightly out of it, but it is nearly impossible that come to save for an over spin.
(Demo)
Well, 360 flip like most kick flip variations, you are going to find lot of same problems.
Landing primo, not turning the board enough, turning it too much and you just kind of keep working on and see how you can fix those problems.
You are going to have mislandings that we have not even mentioned.
So, I have to say Eric is one of the undisputed masters of 360 flips, Eric’s tongue.
Speaker 2: I think the secret to this trick is for actually for me, is in the back foot, a lot of scoop that gets the board rotating. The kick flip part is kind of minimal. You just want a light take flip. That just get to the over but it is all mainly in the back foot.
Speaker 1: If you do not catch as high as you see this, it is okay. It is okay. You can let it spin, close to the ground like me and still make it, all right. Just keep working on it to get higher and higher. Stay loose; let it flow, breath through your nose.
Speaker 2: Circular, circular energy.
Feel the board, feel it.
