[Music Playing]
Female 1: Gosh!
Female 2: Well, what can I say?
Male 1: Wow that is a great question.
Female 3: I do not know. I really do not know.
Male 2: That is a tricky question but…
Female 4: I hope so.
Male 3: It depends what you mean by peace, I think inner peace is possible.
Female 5: Within ourselves it has to be. Outside ourselves, it is a nightmare world we are living.
Male 4: Peace is the opposite of war.
Male 5: Peace! I go talk about peace. I go around the world talking about peace to people. I have understood one thing; people do not even know what it is. Nobody has a clue!
Some think, this gets very funny. Some think peace is but everybody is going to put hair around there, you know flowers around their hair and dance around the streets, and when you meet somebody you will hug each other.
No more tips, when you go to the restaurant. If the waiter was good to you then after you finish. You pay the bill you get up and you give the person a hug.
That is their constant of peace. Other people think peace is when all the fighting will stop. Everybody will just seat home, would not fight with anybody.
Your neighbor does something. You will just seat there and pout. I think some people think that peace will be the day the train stop running and dogs stop barking.
That is peace. Some people think peace is will be everybody will be on top of a mountain over looking a beautiful lake with a sunset and you will be able to hear crickets.
When you hear crickets this is what you say, “That is so peaceful.” Next time you see a cricket, do not just shoot away. it is associated with peace for some people.
Of course, if the same cricket ends up in your bedroom, then peace is over because you declare war on that cricket and it is not a question of dead or alive, dead.
Peace, without which we would loose the very fabric of who we are. Peace that dances in the heart of everyone that is the peace I am talking about.
The reality, the beauty, the joy, the true peace, not an absence of something but, the very presence of something, that is what is alive. That is what is possible and yes, even in the middle of the war a person can experience peace.
