Hello everybody this is Bob Hutchinson in here at BlogClasses.com. For today’s free video I’d like to show you how quick and easy it is to put Adsenses on your blog and start making money immediately with Google Adsense.
This is the perfect job for somebody who wants to make money well working at home. For this demonstration I want to use one of my Adsense blogs on arthritis. It’s a very simple blog that I set up. It has been optimized for Adsense that means if the word press design or theme I used has been set up from maximum impact.
What I really want to get across with this video is one simple fact. If you can cut and paste text you have all the skills you need to make money on a blog that’s because 99% of bloggers know nothing about programming, HTML and all that. All they know how to do is copy and paste pieces of code and they know where to put it in their blog. That’s it. That’s actually really, really simple and it’s a lot simpler than most people realized.
So hang on for a second. I’m going to go live on the internet and demonstrate really quickly how to put a Google Adsense on the blog, so stand by and I’ll be right back.
Okay, I’m back. Here is my blog on arthritis, this is called “Easy Arthritis Cures” it’s a very simple blog that I actually used this as a demonstration for one of my classes. We just set it up. It has some syndicated articles and some other things.
Now the ideal place to put Google Adsense is going to be in your side bar right here. So I plan on putting it some Goodle Adsense as right in here right after the search button which is about easier and about Easy Arthritis Cures, so first thing I have to do is get into the dashboard of my blog and log in and check actually I already done. And this is the, what’s called the dashboard of a blog. If you don’t know how to do this again, I’m going to explain it how you can find out. It’s very, very easy.
We’re going to click on here designs as the word press dashboard and go to the theme editor. And I know this looks scary all this code here, but right here is the side bar that’s the one column on the right, and you can see here in this code that I’m going to put a little piece of code. Where is that search file right there. Search form that’s the little search button right I will show you right here, so I’m going to put the code for Adsense right it’s going to go below this so the ads up here below is the search box here.
So, to do that I’ve got to get the code from Google and I’m going to paste it right in here. This cursor is—I hope you can see that. And then once I’ve do that it will Google will magically put the Ads there and then I want to have—
So, here we are at Google Adsense. It doesn’t cost you anything just to have an Adsense account. You do have to get in banking information that you alreay paid to automatic payment or something, but it doesn’t cost you anything to start making money. And once you set up your Adsense account which you go to that Google Adsense where your Google Adsense and you’ll find at the Adsense log on.
All you do to set up an ad is to click on add for contact and that will take you to this page when you’re given the choice of having either text or that images. I usually like just text that, but you can do both. So we’ll do both. Then you’re given the choice of formats and if you want to see the format you click on this little ad format page and it will give you all the different types of that now. For the side bar like ours, this is generally the best one, 160 x 600.
So we’re going to go back and pick that go up here and click on vertical at 160 x 600. I’m going to keep the Google default design. You can actually change it if you’d like and play around with it. I do that a lot, but for this demonstration I’m not going to, so I’m going to keep all of these the same. So let’s go down to the bottom here and click on continue and then I’m going to add a new channel, I’m going to call this “Easy Arthritis Cures Sidebar” and click OK. I cannot have I already have that. Let’s called it “Easy Arthritis Cures Sidebar2” That’s it, okay and I click continue and there submit and get code.
Now, all I have to do is copy this code like this. You just copy and right click the mouse and click copy and I go back to our blog, and again, I’m going to put the code right below where it says, “Search Form” because this is the Sidebar this is the code to the Sidebar right below that I think I’ll do it right in there. I right click the mouse and click paste and there it is. There’s the code. And then all I do is click Update File, and you’ll see there’ll be a big blank space where they’re use to be other things. That’s because it takes a few minutes for Google to analyze your site and determine the most relevant material, the most relevant ads to put on your site. It will think a couple of minutes.
So I’m going to probably just pause this video until our Google puts back and you’ll find —my guess is there will be ads about arthritis cures. And as soon as somebody clicks one of those ads that are on the internet I will make 50 cents or a dollar or whatever amount of money people are going to pay for that ad. So let me pause this video now because it can take maybe five to 10 minutes before Google will have those ads actually on the internet.
Okay, we’re back, and as you can see right here on this right end corner here or this right hand column we now have Google AdSense. We have at Rudimentary Arthritis, Rudimentary Arthritis and Diet Superior, Gout Treatment, Natural Arthritis Relief. Google automatically analyzes your site and sees what articles you have there. And then it places the most appropriate ads for your blog. And that took quick all of maybe five minutes.
So literally, if you have a blog you can start making money almost immediately within five minutes by just putting some AdSense on your blog. Of course, there’s a lot more to it in terms if you’re going to traffic, you’ve got people who are coming to your blog and that’s what I teach in my blog classes I have free videos in BlogClasses.com.
Now my pitch is this. I’m going to be doing some free tele classes.
