How to Add Grommets to your Pretties
Hi, everybody. I’m going to show you how to set these little Grommets. This is the jumbo and this is the small, get about 60 of these, get about 20 of these and they come in different colors like silver and black and white and vanilla.
They’re going to need something for me, this is from the mat pack and use the mouse pad or fun foam or something but you put your paper, card stock, whatever on top of that. Press down and little poky things come through the other side. Use your bone folder and knock them off flat, I kind of push out. You can also a hammer but they’re very fat and there it’s set. And then take a piece of remember the blue dot. Let’s take it in the middle that looks really cute. The other thing you can do, you can actually put them into your pretties.
Now the problem with that is when you go to press this then nothing happens because it’s fabric. So what we have to do is we have to make a little template for the holes. So you’re going to take your grommet and take some black ink or something dark and you’re going to ink up the tips, put down in the center and now you have this hole as a template.
So go back in with your paper poker and make those holes big enough like that that you can actually see where they’re going and then you can set your grommet in the middle and then you can decorate it. You can decorate it with a doll of bread like that with a little piece a punch paper in the middle or something really cute to a corner way button in the middle. They are just so sweet and if you happen to drop one of these on the ground and you can’t find it, well, you just have to know where to look. We’ll see you next time.
