Hi! This is Dave Collins from Shareware Promotions with a special butterscotch.com series on Google AdWords. This is part three, adding the first keywords.
It’s now time to add our first keywords to the ad group, so we’ll click on the campaign, initial campaign. We select the ad group, ad group number one. We then click on tools keyword tool. From here, we’re going to add a couple of keywords that we already filled off. So, we paste them in from our brainstormed list. We’re also going to choose to tie the results to all countries and territories so as to get as much data as possible. Then we click get the keyword ideas and we see what Google come up with.
Scroll down the page. And for now, we’re going to stick just with phrase an exact match from match time. So, we select phrase and then we’re going to one by one work our way through the list adding the keywords that we think are a good effect. Once we’ve done that, we’ll change the match type to exact and we’ll do the same thing. Once we’ve done that, we’re going to go back to the top and we’re going to paste in some more keywords that we think might generate some traffic. Click on get keyword ideas. Once we see the results again we’re going to add these keywords in exact match on the phrase match only so we choose learn Windows 7, learning Windows7, learn about Windows 7 and understand Windows 7, we choose phrase and we’ll add those four phrases. And we’re going to scroll back up the page. We’re going to have a couple of more keywords. Click on get keyword ideas, scroll down the list and the same thing go over again, walk away through the list adding the keywords that we think are a good fit. Exact much phrases.
And again, we’ll scroll down the page and we’ll choose to save to add group then we then go back into the campaign and specifically back into the add group that we’ve just been adding keywords for, click on the keywords tab and there we can see all the keywords in the format that we added them.
