Hi, this is Rich Brooks for Flytenew media. We’re a web design in internet marketing company. Today were going to go to the Twitter mail bag and see what kind of questions we have.
I don’t know how to load videos or photos on Twitter. Help @ therichbrooks. You can say what you want, but blondes have more fun.
Well, be that as it may, Chris asks a great question. If you're in a desktop, and I recommend you using the application Tweet Deck. It makes the whole process much simpler. Tweet Deck is a free application that runs on Mac, PC and just about everywhere else. If you want to post a message, you just click on the little icon, type out your message. And then if you want to add a photo to it, you can literally drag and drop from your desktop right into the message box. And then Tweet Deck makes it really easy by uploading the image to an image sharing site like Tweet Deck.
Once it’s done, it will actually create a shortened URL for your post. Now I can go ahead and post that message. And there it is live. And anybody can click on this and see the image.
Adding a video or actually any other document that’s in the internet is equally as easy. All you need to do is select URL. Copy it. And then when you're ready to just go ahead and paste that URL in. Tweet Deck will actually shorten the URL for you and then you can go ahead and hit publish again. Click on that link and its going to take you to the full URL.
Now if you're not using Tweet Deck and you're just using Twitter.com, you're not out of luck. You can use a URL shortening device like Bitly, go ahead and paste your full URL in. shorten it. And you can either use it this tool to actually post directly to your Twitter account or you can just simply copy and paste it and then go ahead and update.
Well Chris, I hope that was hopeful. You should know be able to post videos, photos, audio, whatever you want to your Twitter feed.
Now if you have any questions that you like answered, just send them off to me in Twitter. You can reach me at therichbrooks and I’ll be sure to take care of your questions. Thanks and have a great day.
