How To Add Professional Effect To Your Pictures
Hi guys, welcome to GEEKcompNERD’s computer show. Today I’m going to be talking about a site with where you can add customized effects to your existing photos and give them a professional look to them. So you can add really cool effects so you can show it your friends and boast about it or something. On the site called photofunia.com and what you can do is you can find a great deal, great variety of different effects to choose from. Whenever you see a face like this man’s face on all these effects that’s where your picture will be shown. Let’s say for example, scroll up and choose the coin effect and just select the effect, the page will load up, all you’re going to do now is choose your files. Click on choose file and let’s say we choose our Helper file which is my YouTube logo and you just wait for it to add the effect to the file.
Once this is done, it’ll load up to page and it‘ll say a little thing that says Here we go! And it’ll give a little preview of how your pictures looks. Here we have our YouTube logo with a little thing tat says Botswana which is where I live currently, my current country and it basically bases this on your IP address so no matter where you’re from it automatically configure itself; it gives you year on the bottom and your selected picture.
It looks really cool because it looks as if the thing is engraved into the coin and it is really fun. There are other stuff you can do with this is, you can save it to a disk, you can save it as an avatar, you can either publish it or even add or even order some prints for it.
Next, if we’ll just go back to the site I’ll give you another site 2 or 3 more effects so let’s see what we can do. Say we can choose that one, show a poster, select the effect and when it loads up just do the same. Choose the file, the same file and it’ll start adding the effect. It’s basically replacing the man’s picture with the picture that you’ve chosen. It looks pretty professional I would say.
There’s one more thing that you could chose from, as you can see on top we have home, blog, faces and about. Home is where you choose the effects. Blog is obviously the blog and if you click on faces and check this out it shows little thumbnail of all the pictures that I’ve uploaded to this site and added the effects. If you don’t want your pictures to be shown up here, there’s an option before you upload the files. Lets just chose the sketch effects; you can choose the option that says my photo should not be available to the public so your photo will not be listed in the faces tab so if you just carry over—
Basically, it does the same thing but it doesn’t add your face to it. Again, this looks really professional. You can add your photo and it would look as if someone is sketching your photo, it looks really nice, cool, interesting, geeky and nerdy.
